About Us

|| Meet Grace ||

Hi everyone! My name is Grace, and I’m the current head writer and videographer for Her Heritage. I took over the blog in January from the amazing, incredible founders, Cynthia and Ashley. I totally encourage you to read their bios below and I’m so honored to play a role in Her Heritage!

Like I always say, I’m just that redhead girl! 🙂 I recently moved with my family from Florida to North Carolina, and I’m currently attending college, majoring in Biomedical Sciences and Child Psychology.

If I’m not reading or writing, I’m usually working on some kind of project. I adore sewing, knitting, crocheting, woodworking, and crafting of all kinds! In my spare time, you can also find me volunteering at children’s community events as princesses and other characters.

I really hope you enjoy looking around the blog, and that it inspires you as a mother, daughter, or both! Thanks a million for reading! 🙂 ❤

Mom || Cynthia Schrock

She has always described herself as a “domestic engineer in charge of housing, transportation, education and some finance.” She was born in Ohio but grew up on the mission field with her parents in Quito, Ecuador. She has always desired to serve the Lord in any capacity He would use her due to the impact the mission field had on her life. She married her wonderful husband Eric in 1990. They have two children: Ashley who is married to her husband Cody Hoffman and Matthew who is still in school getting a degree in drafting. In 2016 Cynthia completed a 13 year long journey of homeschooling.

Eric and Cynthia also have a passion for strong marriages. They have been involved in
marriage and parenting ministry for over 20 years. They have weathered many trials in their lives and marriage. Eric is an amputee who lost his leg as an infant. Cynthia is a kidney transplant recipient who spent two years on dialysis in her late 20’s before receiving her miracle transplant. Cynthia is also a contact mom for a nationwide parenting ministry, helping mom’s with solutions in their daily parenting struggles. She has also authored a book on celebrating other’s called “The Ultimate Gift of a Birthday.”
Cynthia has a passion to help other’s realize their identity in Christ and the life He came to give them. She loves God’s Word and wants other’s to discover the treasures on each page. His Word is life giving truth to each of us personally!
